Matt is one of the most experienced business brokers in Auckland. After several years of practising as an M&A specialist with a Merchant Bank, acquiring extensive experience in the sale and purchase of medium and large private companies, Matt decided to branch out on his own.
In 1989, Company Sales and Acquisitions was established. Matt a Chartered Accountant whose background also included accounting, merchant banking and senior corporate roles, before he entered this industry.

Alan’s career began in the engineering world which saw him undertaking assignments for UK and US engineering companies around the world. His wide business experience gained internationally as well as at home included several years running his own businesses both here and in England. These included a Specialist Recruitment agency and the start-up of an import/distribution company in the UK. Alan joined Matt at CSA in 2003 and all these years later has successfully negotiated and completed multiple business sales.
Like his colleagues at CSA, Alan still thinks he can surf and is living his dream of finding lots of waves while achieving successful deals for his clients.
Since he started building surfboards in 1977, Craig developed his business in numerous sectors including surfboards, textiles, airline products and garments. He established a regional presence with operations in NZ, Australia and Fiji. Craig understands what it takes to start a business, grow a business, run a business and to sell a business, so it simply made sense for Craig to join the Company Sales and Acquisitions team.
Howard has over 35 years’ experience in financial, IT, sales and general management roles in a range of medium sized businesses. As a result Howard understands what it takes to be successful in this sector. He has also owned his own business and has been involved in the purchase and sale of several businesses during his career.
Howard is passionate about his work and always brings energy, diligence and integrity to the table.
